Counsellor helped me cope with my father’s death, says Ed Miliband
Labour leader Ed Miliband has revealed that he received grief counselling after the death of his father.
Mr Miliband said he decided to seek professional help after his father Ralph, a leading Marxist academic, died in 1994 at the age of 70.
“When my father died, I did go and see a counsellor who helped me a lot with coping with that bereavement, so I think the availability of help for people in all kinds of ways is very important,” Mr Miliband told Iain Dale on LBC Radio.
