About me and my therapy practice

Hello and welcome. I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist and have been practising for over 10 years. My Counselling & Psychotherapy work has taken place mainly within education at Bicton College and for 9 years in a large secondary school in Exeter . I have also worked for Young Devon and for Sidmouth Help Link. I have accumulated experience of working with wide a variety of individuals and my Private Practice welcomes Clients of all ages whereby I am equipped to work with a broad range of issues I am a Humanistic Counsellor/Psychotherapist, using an integrative approach which means I blend together theoretical concepts drawn from various Psychological approaches (e.g. CBT, TA, NLP) and Eastern philosophies (e.g. Mindfulness) to suit my client’s needs. I provide a confidential, safe caring environment conducting my work strictly within the BACP code of ethics. If you are looking for counselling for a young person I hold an enhanced DBS which can be viewed online My Continual Professional Development enables me to maintain my BACP Accreditation Status, remaining on the Professional Standards Authority Accredited Register of Counsellors/Psychotherapists ensuring a High Professional Standard of Care for my Clients.
