About me and my therapy practice

I have a BA (Hons) in Counselling from Roehampton University, previously I was a registered general nurse and worked in the NHS. I offer an Integrative approach to therapy, including psychodynamic, CBT and trauma therapy. Life is a journey in which we all experience good and bad times. Sometimes the bad experiences can either overwhelm or leave us in place where we feel bruised and unable to cope. Whether difficulties have their roots in the past or stem from an event in the present; counselling can offer you a safe, non-judgmental, supportive setting, where together we can explore your experience, enabling you to develop a new personal understanding about yourself. Many people find that this new insight empowers them to make positive changes. I am a member of the BACP and abide by its ethical framework and am on the BACP Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I am also a member of the UK Psychological Trauma Society.
