Reaching out for help takes courage and is a powerfully positive move indicating you are ready for change.
Addressing the things that keep you stuck and hold you back can feel difficult, confusing and sometimes really scary. That's where I come in as a psychotherapist. I think of my job as providing you with a reliable, safe and confidential space to explore yourself and what's going on. My aim is to help support you as you learn and to use what you understand about yourself and others to create more useful ways tackling problems.
Some people struggle with coming to terms with experiences that have happened to them in the past. Others struggle with feelings, or thoughts, or with how they act. Still others struggle with relationships and intimacy or with all of the above in some way or another. The way I work is to listen very carefully to your experiences and help you make sense of what is going on and discover new, more satisfying ways of being and relating.
