About me and my therapy practice

My aim is to offer a friendly, emotionally warm, safe and confidential place. I believe it takes a lot of courage to take the first step into counselling, and people come for all kinds of reasons. It’s not just traumatic events that bring us to counselling. I have been a counsellor for 9 years now, working locally on the Isle of Wight. I have experience in working with a range of ages, and a range of issues. Our aim would be for us to explore how life is for you, how you feel about it, and how you react during certain situations, working towards finding solutions that work for you, based on a self reflective experience. I am an integrative counsellor, which means that I use different models of counselling, weaving them and tailoring them to suit the unique needs of each of my clients. This can be either open ended or short term, which we would discuss in our initial consultation. I can offer counselling in a home location in Ryde, and other Island locations.
