I am a qualified BACP registered Counsellor /Therapist working with clients from a variety of backgrounds on various issues.
Working across a number of community based counselling agencies in South London, I use Person Centred, Psychodynamic and CBT approaches to therapy. Alongside this, I also use goal setting, art and play therapy and aspects of mindfulness, depending on the client's needs.
I believe that clients need to be comfortable in their counselling sessions, to enable them to talk freely about any feelings and experiences that they may not have discussed with anyone before. As part of my practice, I endeavour to create a welcoming, safe and trusting space where clients can know that whatever they say, will remain in that space. I adhere to the ethical and professional guidelines that are in place through the BACP.
I have been lucky enough to support many adults and young people over the years and feel privileged to have made a difference in their lives. This has enabled me to gain an insight into the many difficult issues people are dealing with in their lives.
From my own personal experience of receiving therapy, I know that this has really helped me to be more self aware of my own issues and equipped me to deal with any challenges that I may face in the future.
