About me and my therapy practice

I am a registered BACP Counsellor and Psychotherapist based in Bristol. I see clients using a variety of theoretical approaches to assist you in understanding and working through your issues. The relationship with you, the client is central to my work.

For some people the decision to seek counselling can be a difficult and daunting prospect. The best way to start is to simply arrange an introductory session, where we would explore what has brought you to therapy and discuss how we might work together. It is important for you to feel comfortable in your choice of therapist.

I have experience working with individuals and couples from many different walks of life and motivations to enter therapy. I have worked in private healthcare where I facilitated a range of group therapy sessions and managed an individual caseload and I have been in private practice for over 8 years.

In general my work involves person to person counseling and it is my task to provide you with a safe, non-judgmental and confidential space within which you can gain a better understanding of your world space. Depending on your needs I may draw upon various approaches including psychodynamic, CBT, humanistic or existential but fundamentally it is the relationship with you that is central to the work.

Please feel free to explore my website and contact me to discuss setting up an introductory meeting. I look forward to meeting you.
