I provide a calm and reflective space where you can speak freely about whatever is troubling you. As a counsellor you will find me thoughtful, empathic and committed to my relationship with you. I have enabled many people to gain a clearer understanding of themselves, come to terms with difficult life events and find new ways forward. My approach to counselling is integrative which means that I draw on various different models including Gestalt, person-centred and cognitive-behavioural approaches, depending on your particular situation and what seems to work best for you. I have experience of working with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, stress, bereavement and relationship issues. I have a particular interest in working with couples and have helped many people who are having difficulties in their relationships. My Christian faith informs my view of human beings as unique and valuable individuals. I am always open to discussing issues around faith, religion and spirituality as part of the counselling process, whether you share my faith or are coming from a different perspective.
