About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced and accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and hold an MA in counselling and psychotherapy. I have worked in general counselling for the NHS, SARC (Sexual Abuse Referral Centre), specialist addiction therapy and secure institutions. At times, we all feel stressed, anxious or upset. It’s a natural part of our emotional range. But sometimes we get stuck in these feelings and, for some reason, they become a frequent and unwelcome part of our lives. Talking to a qualified therapist can help us to uncover the hidden links, patterns, emotions that are unbalancing us, and help us find ways to restore our happier state. The way I work is very much focused on you, with an emphasis on how you feel. I will encourage you to explore your feelings and emotions about situations you are experiencing now and those you have experienced in the past. I will not offer answers or advice but I hope to enable you to find your own way. You are under no obligation to talk about anything you don't want to. I offer a safe, non-judgemental environment in which to explore your feelings. Please read more about my experience and about therapy on this website and contact me on 07444 536080 or at to arrange a first session.
