It is important that you are able to find the right counsellor as this will help you to feel the appropriate benefits of therapy. In light of this I offer a free initial meeting, lasting anywhere up to an hour, where my aim is to help you feel at ease in the therapy room, and for you to consider whether you would like us to work together going forwards. My role as a Counsellor is to help you explore your journey, and understand more about yourself as a result. I work from an integrative perspective, which means my work encompasses a wide area of counselling skills. In the main, my approach will be to actively listen to you without being judgmental, and encourage you to talk freely about your thoughts and feelings. I will feed my responses back to you, raising your awareness of your situation. It is through this awareness that you will more clearly see the choices you have and be able to identify more readily a possible solution, or way forward, that feels right for you. If you would like to arrange a meeting, please do either call or email.
