About me and my therapy practice

I’m based in Willingdon, on the outskirts of Eastbourne. I offer a low-cost introductory session because finding the right counsellor for you is so important. It may also be daunting. Counselling is a process by which we explore our truest, deepest, often most painful emotions so we can live daily life more fully. By understanding our emotions we can be informed by them, rather than being overwhelmed or controlled by them. I qualified in 1998 and my practice is built on professional training (Person-centred counselling, Creative Arts); Inner Child approaches; and on my own personal journey. I have experience in family and relationships work; work with children of all ages; adoption and fostering; self-esteem and self-defeating behaviours; and trauma and abuse recovery (including historical abuse). Whether your suffering is immediate or life-long I would be honoured to accompany you on your journey of therapeutic healing. I am also able to offer group work where this is appropriate and beneficial.
