Specialising in sand tray therapy, I work creatively to help you explore your world. When words just don't seem enough, then sand is a kinetic and 3D way you can help me see things from your perspective. 

I am a Professionally qualified counsellor and clinical supervisor with a private practice in Weston-super-Mare. I work with young people and adults. 

As a counselling lecturer for over 17 years I have an embedded understanding of the existential value of human relationships and the need to be heard and understood. This experience has been both enriching and challenging and has taught me how amazing people are, when given the right environment and support. I adhere to BACP code of ethics, and am fully insured.

Fees are £50 per session. Initial session is £25.

For 19 years I developed and coordinated a charity counselling service which has recently achieved lottery funding status. 

I also have experience within a medical setting. My specialist subject is working with individuals who have, or are living with someone who has a life shortening illness.

Supervision is an essential part of our work as therapists, whether you are in training, newly qualified or have years of experience. As a qualified supervisor within this field I can offer clinical supervision for your counselling work within a trusting professional relationship.

Fees are £53 for one hour, and £75 for an hour and a half. First initial meeting is free.

The BACP guidelines for counsellors in training are to have supervision fortnightly. To encourage this safe and ethical practice I offer reduced rates of £48 per hour if you have supervision every 2 weeks.
