I currently have availability within my practice.

I work Monday to Thursday seeing clients between the hours of 8am and 6pm.

I am originally trained as a Person Centered Therapist which means that I work with wehatever you bring to the Counselling Room; the time is yours.

Since qualifying 6 years ago I have continued to undertake additional training specifically in the areas of Anxiety and Complex Trauma.

I work with Adults, Adolsecents and Children both Face to Face and Online.

Hello & welcome to my profile. My name is Claire and I am a qualified Counsellor & registered member of the BACP. I offer Counselling from a therapy room at the beautiful Happy Body Centre, Bedfordshire (as well as via Zoom Video). Working with warmth, I offer you a safe space to talk about whatever is troubling you. We can explore together how you are feeling & perhaps work through your thought processes and help you to find a way forward. Many of us struggle for too long before seeking therapy (myself included), get in touch and take the first step towards the future.

During our first session we will look at what has brought you to Counselling and identify areas it might be useful for you to talk through during our time together. I will explain more about how I work and we can see if that is a match for you.

I don't tend to ask clients to complete a full Assessment, but if you would like to do so, I can provide this as the start and end of therapy.

I‘ve worked both in Private Practice for the last 6.5 years, as well as working as School Counsellor and as a Counsellor within organisations. 

I’m now undertaking my Level 6 Diploma in clinical Supervision and am offering Supervision at a discounted rate during my Training.

I have worked with Adults, Children and Adolescents.

I work both face to face at a beautiful Wellness Centre called the Happy Body Project as well as online via Zoom.

During our first session, I will talk you through the contract which will cover how we will work together, including area such as Confidentiality & my Cancellation Policy etc. 

It is my aim to connect with you on a professional level in order to support the work you undertake with your clients, working ethically and safely, enhancing and underpinning the therapeutic relationship you have with your clients.

I will find out from you what you are looking for in a Supervisor and cover any fears or concerns you might have so that you feel at ease bringing your clinical work to our sessions. My role is support and encourage you in your work by providing a relaxed by professional space for reflection and constructive feedback.
