About me and my therapy practice

Feeling stuck?

There are times when we have all found life difficult or overwhelming. Sometimes we find it hard to climb out of a rut we have got ourselves into, but you have taken the first step by reading this.

Counselling can help

Being stuck and unable to see a way forward is very common, it can lead to anxiety, panic attacks, low mood and depression. Therapy sessions are a safe space to express your feelings and begin to understand your situation.

My hope is that each client embarks on a journey of self-discovery, to enhance understanding, acceptance and independence. As a person-centred counsellor, I aim to support you on this journey so that you feel heard and understood. I will help you to explore your own issues, feelings, beliefs and behaviour.

I aim to provide a professional service with a down to earth approach, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, for older children, adults, couples and small family groups.
As an autism friendly practice, I offer a free 20 minute meet me session to discuss what to expect and any extra support that I can offer.

I specialise in trauma; I would describe this as a single event or a series of experiences that have not only impacted you at the time, but have also influenced the way you live your life now. Whilst specialising in trauma, I have experience with many varying issues, such as relationships, loss, and stress. I am happy to take on clients facing other issues, please send me a message or call me to discuss your needs.
