About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I’m Ali.

We all experience grief or loss at some point in our lives. This can be the loss of a loved one (bereavement), a job, a relationship, confidence, our health or even our direction in life.

I help people who are struggling in this area, to navigate the process, work through the pain and adjust to a different future.

I am a fully qualified counsellor (BA Hons Counselling) and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I specialise in bereavement and loss therapy.

I understand we are all unique and our lives are a journey of ups and downs. Sometimes we cope and manage, other times it may feel as if life is a bit overwhelming or we feel we have lost our direction. This is when counselling is useful. I will help you to explore yourself and the problems you are experiencing in a comfortable, confidential, non-judgemental space. I have a passion for the work of counselling and love to help people grow to their full potential as well as coping with the immediate problem. I use an integrative approach so will draw on a variety of counselling approaches, and tailor the sessions to your unique needs.

If you are a trainee counsellor/psychotherapist I am able to offer you sessions at a reduced rate.

I follow the guidelines and ethics set out by the BACP for good practice.
