About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I am Alex and thank you for visiting my page. I have been practising as a counsellor psychotherapist for over 15 years and also a counselling supervisor. My approach is person-centred and cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), I have worked with many different presentations over the years with individuals struggling with anxiety, neurodiverse, stress, trauma, addictions, sleep disturbance, abuse, and relationship. By employing evidence-based practices, I work towards empowering clients to uncover the root causes of their presentation and develop healthy coping mechanisms and strategies for long-term well-being.

Practice description
Within my work I strive to create a warm and non-judgmental environment that promotes self-discovery and growth whilst emphasising empathy and unconditional positive regard, with the structured techniques of CBT, I tailor each therapy session to meet the unique needs and goals of every client.
With a strong commitment to ongoing professional development, I feel it is important to stay up to date with the latest advancements in the field of psychotherapy. With a holistic approach, combined with experience, I want to ensure that clients receive the highest quality care necessary to navigate their journey towards self-empowerment.
My first session
I offer a free 15min consultation either over the phone or video.
