About me and my therapy practice

Sometimes life can be overwhelming, and it can be helpful for us to reach out to a trained professional to journey with us through the choppy waters. At other times, we may just have an inner sense of being unsettled, flat or empty and be unsure as to why; or we may have more specific concerns, centring around work, health, parenting or relationships.

As an Integrative Relational Therapist combining humanistic, psychodynamic, polyvagal, embodied and compassion-focussed modalities, I aim to offer a supportive, confidential space in which we can explore whatever is concerning you. My gentle, nurturing approach may help to unravel any confusion you are experiencing, enabling you to move forward, with greater confidence in your inner resources.


Practice description

It can be incredibly daunting to take those first steps to seek therapy. I hope to reassure you that I provide an accepting space where you can just be, however you are feeling.

Week by week, I will help you to gain a greater awareness of your needs, feelings and choices, noticing the ways in which you relate to yourself, others and the world around you. This process, slowly but surely, can help us to come into a more supportive and compassionate relationship with ourselves, to feel a greater sense of self-trust, internal safety, resilience and agency. 

I may draw on a number of counselling modalities in order to try to meet your bespoke requirements - we are all unique individuals and different ways of working may resonate with each of us differently. 


My first session

I work nationally online (via Zoom) and via the telephone.

Please feel free to contact me either via telephone, email or my website. Please leave a voicemail if I am unable to pick up the call, so that I can phone you back.

I offer a FREE 15-20 minute phone call on initial contact in order that we can discuss what brings you to therapy and how I work, in order that you can get a sense of whether you feel we would be a good fit.

During our initial session, we can further explore the concerns you are bringing to therapy, in additions to what you hope to gain from our work together. If we feel happy to continue working together, we would book a further block of 7 sessions. Following this, we can work in an open ended fashion, or draw the work to a close in one further session, if this feels appropriate for you.
