About me and my therapy practice

You may be here because you’ve experienced difficult, upsetting, or traumatic life events. Whatever the reason, some experiences can leave us feeling anxious, depressed, guilty, ashamed, sad, confused, angry or low in self-esteem.

Or perhaps you feel low and out of sorts and you don’t quite know why. Sometimes, it can be really difficult to navigate life's obstacles on your own.

Whatever you’re going through, know that you’re not alone. I will provide you with a safe and supportive space where you can explore your feelings and develop coping strategies to help you move forward.

I have experience in helping clients with anxiety, depression, stress, loneliness, bereavement and loss, low self-esteem, self-harm, relationship difficulties many other issues. One of my areas of expertise is in supporting people who have experienced abuse and trauma.

Alongside my private practice, I work for an organisation offering counselling to individuals who have experienced sexual abuse and trauma. I have also worked for a charity offering free counselling to women who have experienced domestic violence and abuse, as well as a charity offering free counselling to young people aged 16-24.

I use a variety of counselling approaches to ensure you receive the support that best suits your needs and that you feel heard. One approach is Transactional Analysis, which explores how we relate to ourselves, other people and the world around us. It can help you make sense of past experiences, as well as what you're going through now.

At the heart of my practice is a person-centred approach, meaning that our sessions are led by you and that I support you in realising your full potential.
