About me and my therapy practice
I’m an integrative counsellor trained in Gestalt, TA, and Person Centred. This means that I tailor my approach to what you need. I ensure from the moment you walk in that you feel comfortable and that we assess if I’m the right counsellor for you. Counselling is not my job but a way of being for me.
I currently work exclusively online, providing affordable and accessible counselling sessions wherever you are in the world.
To be the support I can be for you, I have regular counselling and regular supervision for my personal and career development.
Practice description
Life can feel overwhelming sometimes with so much going on and so much to cope with. Counselling helps you explore what is going on for you and allows for more space in your life to learn about yourself and your patterns which can be a painful yet rewarding process. I will be your companion in this journey to help explore this journey with you offering you empathic understanding and allowing both of us to be curious without any judgment or quick fixes. In order for us to learn more about you and who you are, I need your commitment and investment to the process.
We will be looking together at some behaviour patterns that may have had a negative impact on your life. With awareness of those behaviours, you will have a choice of making the change you need in your life.
Issues that I can work with include:
Trauma
Anger management
Anxiety
Bereavement
Depression
Feeling sad
Loneliness
Low self-confidence
Low self-esteem
Relationship problems
Separation and divorce
Sexual abuse
Social anxiety

I currently work exclusively online, providing affordable and accessible counselling sessions wherever you are in the world.
I have a master’s in Development and Emergency Practice and experience working in the charity sectors and have worked with NGOs and INGOs. I currently work with two charities supporting refugees’ mental health in different capacities.
I have a passion for supporting those who are the first responders in the time of conflict risking their lives. I’m also passionate about supporting those who have been impacted by war or conflict. I speak Arabic and English fluently and want to ensure that I can offer my services to those who need it even outside the UK. Making counselling more accessible is my motivation and my vision for the work that I do. I have experience working with refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in the UK. I have worked in issues related to trauma, grief, intercultural challenges, and identity issues.
To be the support I can be for you, I have regular counselling and regular supervision for my personal and career development.
Whether you are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, work issues, relationship issues, living in the UK or abroad, this service is for you.
Our therapeutic services can be offered in both English and Arabic without an interpreter. CWB is passionate about offering counselling to frontline staff such as humanitarian aid workers and journalists who are some of the first people to be there in conflict zones to relieve and document the suffering. Whether you are an individual living in the UK or overseas, someone with lived experience or a front-line worker in need of counselling, I want to hear from you.
