Practice description

As a person-centred counsellor, I follow the core principles of the person-centred approach developed by Carl Rogers. This approach places you, the client, at the centre of the therapeutic process. I understand that you are the expert of your own experience and works collaboratively with you to explore your feelings, thoughts, and concerns without judgment. Through active listening and unconditional positive regard, I aim to create a space where you can freely express yourself, gain insight, and find your own solutions.

My first session

I will usually suggest a free 15-minute call prior to beginning our  sessions together. This will give you the opportunity to get to know a bit more about me and my practise, so you can feel confident in the lead up to our first face-to-face session.  This will also give me the opportunity to understand what you are looking for from your counselling and to ensure I have the relevant knowledge and expertise to support you on your journey.
