About me and my therapy practice
I understand how hard it can be to choose the right therapist for you. The decision to reach out for help and seek therapy can be tough enough alone. Sometimes we face struggles in life leaving us feeling stuck or overwhelmed and need help in finding our way. This is where I aim to offer you a confidential, warm, and safe space to explore your reasons for seeking therapy.
I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor and psychotherapist, my private practice is based in both Grantham and Newark. As a Humanistic and Integrative therapist, I work relationally and believe in the uniqueness of human experience. The service I provide will give you the opportunity to develop better insight into yourself and any difficulties you may be facing right now. Offering non-judgemental support, I have worked with a diverse range of clients with a wide range of presenting issues and value the difference and diversity in everyone.
Practice description
I have a first class BSc (Hons) degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Achieved through the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute, awarded by Staffordshire University and accredited by the BACP.
I am a full member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and adhere to their ethical framework for good practice.
I hold full professional insurance.
My first session
I can offer a free informal 15 minute chat over the phone, to answer any questions you may have about therapy or the service I offer. This is often a good chance to get a feel for whether I would be a good fit for you as your therapist and if you wish for us to work together we can book a face to face session from there.
