About me and my therapy practice

Do you feel constantly overwhelmed, fed up and stuck? Are their times you ask yourself what's the point? Are you dealing with negative emotions that are getting you down? 

I can help you find a way forward. Working together with me can reveal choices that help you come un-stuck and lead to positive change. You will have the chance to learn individual coping-skills and regain a balance in your life that feels better - getting you closer to the life you want.

I am an integrative counsellor which means I draw on different modalities to best help you. My focus will always be you and by combining different methods it helps to tailor the therapy experience so you get what you need out of therapy. 

Practice description

I have my own spacious, comfortable and private therapy room free from distractions. There is a toilet available and easy parking. I am located in Ashford, Kent.


I offer short or long-term therapy for adults. Sessions are usually weekly, however if you feel you need more or less than this I can offer flexibility here. 

My first session

It's normal to feel a bit uncomfortable and apprehensive when you take that first step and come to therapy, so this is to give you a bit more information of what to expect.


Before the first session I offer a free telephone consultation which usually takes around 20 minutes. This is to find out more about each other. I can get a sense of what you want to work on in counselling and we can make a plan from there on what the next steps look like.

The first session is a chance to talk, and be listened to and to experience a space that is free from distractions. We will get to know each other and form a better understanding of what you are hoping to gain from therapy.

It is important that you feel comfortable and the first session is a good opportunity to reflect on how you feel in the therapy space and whether you like working with me.
