About me and my therapy practice

Are you struggling to cope with things at the moment? Do you feel confused, overwhelmed or that life is out of control? Are your stuck in patterns of unhelpful behaviour? Do you wish you had someone impartial and non-judgmental to share your thoughts and feelings with? If so, I may be able to help by offering you the time and space to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe, confidential and supportive environment. This increased self-awareness will empower you to make changes and find more useful ways of managing life's challenges. I offer a free, no-obligation consultation, which allows us to decide together if I can meet your needs and how best to tailor the therapy to your individual situation. I offer brief solution-focused therapy as well as more traditional medium to long-term counselling. As well as adults, I work with adolescents and currently hold an enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) Disclosure. I tailor my approach to each client's needs and can incorporate CBT, transactional analysis, gestalt therapy, working creatively and solution focused therapy. You bring concerns, worries, phobias, unhelpful behaviours, confusion or anxiety. I provide time, space, warmth, empathy, respect, experience, open-mindedness, independence and confidentiality. My counselling rooms are in central Chichester, just a few steps from the Post Office and Cathedral. I look forward to welcoming you.
