About me and my therapy practice

I work with many problems that have an emotional or psychological origin including depression, bereavement, anxiety, work related issues, relationship difficulties or concerns about drugs, weight or alcohol etc. I am a highly qualified Psychodynamic Counsellor and Psychotherapist with extensive experience having been in practice for 20 years. I completed a rigorous clinical training at the Manor House Centre for Psychotherapy & Counselling, which is a highly regarded BACP accredited training in North London. I have also achieved an MA in Psychoanalytic Studies with Distinction from the Tavistock Clinic, which is world renowned for being at the forefront of exploring mental health and well-being. As well as working in private practice I have worked in the NHS for many years, initially in primary care at GP practices, providing both short and long-term counselling. I then worked for 8 years at Northwick Park Hospital, Mental Health Unit, within the psychotherapy service specialising in providing psychotherapy to those with more complex and enduring issues. I have also worked in organisational settings such a national autistic charity where I was a Consultant Counsellor and am currently working as a Consultant Clinic Psychotherapist at the Clinic for Dissociative Studies.
