I am an experienced counsellor and work as a mental health counsellor dealing with issues like anxiety, depression, lack of confidence and low self-esteem, family and relationship issues and bereavement. I have worked with Mind in Haringey for the last 2 years which I find really rewarding and was recently awarded voluntary counsellor of the year award. In addition, I see private clients in my home which is a calm place to explore whatever issues you need to explore.
I work in a person-centred way by accepting whatever the client brings to the session and responding with empathy, understanding and warmth. Sessions take place in a safe, private and comfortable space and are completely confidential. Counselling isn't a quick fix and can be challenging, but my many satisfied clients say it has helped to talk to a trained professional and explore their issues. Finding the right therapist is key to a mutually trusting relationship and initial sessions are offered at £35 to see if we are comfortable working together. Sessions can be face to face or by Skype/telephone. I have experience counselling using all mediums. Picking up the phone can feel like the hardest step but i am happy to have an initial chat and see if you want to book an initial session.
